Matte Painting

Hey Everybody,

In this post, below is a 3D matte painting done in after effects it has the same principle as digital matte painting (done in photoshop) but the only thing different is that they are pushed in 3D space for depth same is the case for my 3D matte painting and I've given a little camera movement to show the depth

Double Exposure

This post is actually a double exposure inspired from the true detective series, this was totally done in after effects.
the eagle was a green screen and the in the BG was from google which was color corrected later animated a little
the textures are all from google

Bio-metric Hand scan

Hey Everyone,

I'm into a lot of futuristic stuff the whole holograms and everything
so, in this post I've made a bio-metric hologram hand scan
totally done in after effects, the tracking, the masking, the roto, I used a few finger print textures from google.

Melting Angel

Hey Everyone,

In this post, there is a video of a statue of an altar angel melting, this was created in houdini and later composited in after effects.
In houdini I used the flip fluid for the melting and to make the melting occur I painted temperature onto a crumpled grid which was later animated to pass through the statue causing it to melt

Lava

Hey Everyone,

In this post I've done the simulation of lava in houdini and composited in after effects.
Lava is always a bit fascinating, the semi- liquid slowly flowing down a surface with a glow from within and then solidifying.

Ice Cream

Hey Everyone,

I love Ice Cream (I mean, who doesn't right?!), especially when there is chocolate sauce dripping over it. In this post the below video is just that, I simulated chocolate sauce dripping over a vanilla bar.
The Ice cream bar modeled, textured in maya and the model was then imported into realflow to create the chocolate sauce simulation then a mesh was created around it and then imported into maya to texture and then batch render to composite in after effects.

Outer Space

Hello there,

It has been long since I've posted anything here, and I'm planning to get regular again

In this particular post, I have a video of the earth from outer space. This composition I made using Adobe After Effects and a plug-in within it called element 3D, I also used lens flare.
The planet and the asteroids were made in element 3D, BG of stars and celestial dust and gas textures were from google layers were then converted to a 3D layer and lights with after effects were added a lens flare was added for the emittion from the sun and it was all slightly color corrected and finally a little camera movement was given.
